We are excited to unveil our new Pet Nursery, a dedicated space where we carefully breed and raise healthy, happy animals. Our nursery is designed to provide a safe and peaceful environment for our pet parents as they welcome their adorable babies into the world. Each animal is nurtured with love and care, ensuring they are well socialized and ready for their forever homes.
Meet Harriet, she is a dark gray pinto African pygmy hedgehog. She joined our family when she was just 8 weeks old. Although she can be a bit shy and needs some time to warm up, her sweet nature shines through. Harriet loves her beauty sleep, but she'll happily wake up for her favorite treats! As one of our cherished in-home pets, she will soon be the proud mother of our adorable hedgehog babies.
Meet Bean, our dark gray pinto African pygmy hedgehog who joined our family at just 8 weeks old. He has a friendly temperament and loves to come out of his cage for playtime. Snack time is his favorite part of the day, and he can't resist his absolute favorite treats: black soldier fly larvae. Bean is one of our beloved in-home pets and will soon take on the role of father to our hedgehog babies.
We are thrilled to introduce you to Tabitha, our charming dark gray pinto African pygmy hedgehog! This sweet girl has been with our family since she was 8 weeks old. Friendly and affectionate, Tabitha loves to be held and is always eager to explore her surroundings. She's also the most vocal of our three hedgehogs, always ready to express herself! As one of our beloved in home pets, Tabitha will soon take on the role of a wonderful mother to our hedgehog babies.

Welcoming a baby hedgehog into your home is an exciting adventure! To ensure your hoglet thrives, here are some care tips:
1.) Housing: Create a Cozy Home
- Enclosure: Choose a spacious enclosure with soft bedding, such as paper-based bedding or fleece. Make sure there's enough room for your hoglet to bury itself and stay warm. Our hedgehogs love snuggling in fleece blankets and snuggle sacks. Check out our recommended products for the perfect set up.
- Temperature: Maintain a warm environment between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Include a cooler area in their enclosure where they can retreat from the heat.
2. Diet: Nourishment for Growth
- Nutrition: Feed your hoglet high-quality hedgehog food, typically a blend of protein- rich sources. Our hedgehogs enjoy Nutrisource cat food kibble for its great taste and nutrition.
- Treats: Keep treats to a minimum to prevent obesity. Safe options include super mealworms and black soldier fly larvae, which are favorites among our hedgehogs.
-Water: Ensure fresh, clean water is available at all times, either from a water bottle or a shallow dish.
3. Socialization: Building Bonds
-Handling: Each hoglet has its unique personality, so some may enjoy more interaction than others. Be patient! Daily handling helps them acclimate to your presence. Use a soft voice, as loud noises can startle them. Offer treats outside of their cage to encourage them to explore and engage with you.
We hope you love your little hoglets as much as we do! Hedgehogs are full of personality and are wonderful companions!
