V.I. Pets was started by a bother and sister, John and Nancy Van Iwaarden, in August 1988. They opened their first pet store in the Westshore Mall in Holland Michigan. Over the years V.I. Pets has grown to its present day chain of three pet stores in the Grand Rapids and Holland Michigan area. They are still owned by the same brother and sister to this day!
V.I. Pets is the only full line, full service pet store chain left in the Grand Rapids area. V.I.
